About Primary Schools' STEM Fair

EBP South are working in Partnership with Portsmouth Water on this structured STEM event. Over 2 days schools will take part in hands-on STEM activities with different organisations throughout the day. 

  • It's 9.30am - 3pm
  • Businesses deliver the activity by it being streamed into the class
  • Resources are delivered before the event.
  • It's to promote STEM careers for young people aged 9 -11
  • Schools from across the South Coast and Hampshire are invited
  • Its free to attend.

Outcomes for young people

  • Create awareness of STEM Careers to Year 6.
  • Raise aspirations to pupils that they could do a job in STEM.
  • Help young people engage in STEM subjects in school, helping them recognise the link to the world of work.
  • Help to overcome the stereotypical views about careers in STEM.
