Covid has created many challenges for charities over the past year including financial ones. The Basingstoke Lottery provides an opportunity for people to support local charities and ensure the essential services they provide aren’t lost.

Locals are able directly support charities in Basingstoke and Dean and be in with a chance of winning £25,000. Each ticket has a 1 in 50 chance to win a prize each week, with a top prize of £25,000! That’s a better chance of winning than the National Lottery or the Health Lottery!

The Basingstoke Community Lottery costs £1 to play per ticket and 60% of ticket sales go to good causes. Players can choose the charities/causes they want to support who will then receive 50% of the  ticket(s)sale and the other 10% will go to other local good causes.

Basingstoke Consortium are pleased to announce they are one of the charities that are part of the Basingstoke Community Lottery. Basingstoke Consortium cause is, ‘We need your help to be able to work with these young people in Basingstoke who are not going to school, are disengaged, or simply don't 'fit' into the education system, so we can provide them with extended work experience placements alongside a school/alternative curriculum.’
