News EBP South welcomes new CEO EBP South is pleased to announced Richard Kennett will be the new CEO of EBP South. Richard is well connected in both the education and business sector having led University Outreach Teams locally and nationally through cross-sector partnerships. He is coming into the organisation at a pivotal time when EBP South has enhanced its services to schools with a range of virtual opportunities including virtual work experience as they embark on their 5-year strategy to inspire 75,000 young people over 5 years Richard Kennett said, ‘One the aspects of EBP South that attracted me to this role was the life-changing work it carries out to support young people in our area. I am excited at the opportunity to lead the organisation into the future, building on the fantastic work of Cath Longhurst over the last 20 years.’ ‘My career so far has very much focused on partnership working and I look forward to engaging with the great variety of partner organisations that the EBP South works closely with in schools, businesses, local authorities and beyond.’ Richard is taking over from Cath Longhurst who is moving on to several new projects following 20 years in the role. Cath Longhurst said, ‘EBP South will continue to go from strength to strength with the new leadership from Richard alongside EBP South’s virtual and their in-person services they will be well placed to create more opportunities than ever before for schools, business and young people. ‘’.
