Trustees

EBP South was established in 1997 as ‘Portsmouth & South East Hampshire Education Business Partnership’. Since then, we have steadily grown our reach and services. We now work across Hampshire, Portsmouth, Southampton and West Sussex, providing a full range of career-related services in partnership with schools and businesses across the area in support of our mission, to inspire and prepare young people for the world of work.

We are looking for up to three new Trustees to join our Board, who can represent the needs of business and education (i.e. Head Teachers and business leaders from across our region).

There are six board meetings across the year, with the opportunity to represent the board at additional EBP South events. 

The Trustee role is a voluntary, unpaid position. 

As a Trustee you will; 

• Work collectively with other Board Trustees and the CEO to set the strategic direction of EBP South.  

• Represent and be an ambassador for EBP South throughout your own networks.  

• Support the organisation to achieve its income targets and to prepare and meet budgets.  

• Ensure good governance.  

• Carry out all fiduciary duties.  

• Bring your own time, energy, and networks to the table to support EBP South objectives. 

We are particularly looking for Trustees with skills or knowledge in one or more of the following areas:  

• Marketing 

• Finance  

• Business Development  

• Education
