Briefly describe the goal that led your organisation to EBP South.
EBP approached us to attend a local secondary school’s Careers Fair and we were looking to extend the awareness of the 350+ NHS Careers programme across the region.
Why did you choose to work with EBP South?
Staff within the 350+ Team had already formed positive relationships with EBP through previous roles before joining the NHS. EBP have a strong, professional reputation with the experience of the students at the very centre of everything they do; their events are meaningful and well-structured.
What actions/activities have taken place with EBP South to reach your goal?
The ‘Get Inspired’ events have really supported the 350+ NHS Careers programme to interact with lots of new schools and make connections with careers leads across the region. These events have helped us widen our reach across Hampshire and spread our key message; ‘There are far more roles within the NHS than just doctor or nurse, there are over 350 different ones!’.
“The Primary STEM fair was a beautiful event. To have the opportunity to work with Primary students and ‘see the light come on’ through our activity was a special moment. Enlightening them to all the NHS opportunities open to them for their futures was a pleasure. I believe that type if event can really lift the glass ceiling young people start to develop even at that young age. Invaluable!”
What has been the most valuable aspect of working with EBP South, and why?
The EBP South team are so knowledgeable in all things ‘careers’ they serve as a fabulous resource to tap into for support and guidance as employers; how best can we support schools, what careers/government/Ofsted initiatives do schools need our help to achieve, what are current challenges in education young people are facing. In their practice EBP are current, evaluative and above all child-focused, which is a reminder to us all.
Would you recommend that others work with us, and if so, why?
Absolutely! EBP are very easy to work with; communication for events is excellence. All the details are given in good time and clearly and should an employer need a little flexible within timings EBP will always work to find a way. At times our programme has required specific data in order for us to attend and they have sourced this for us too.

If you wish to raise awareness of your business, then EBP are the ones to support you in doing this. They are extremely well connected and respected throughout the South, across a wide variety of educational settings.
