Basingstoke Inspiring STEM is a one-day, fully interactive event where students roll up their sleeves and dive into hands-on challenges designed by real businesses from across Hampshire.
Held at the Apollo Hotel, Basingstoke, this isn’t your average careers fair. It’s a vibrant, fast-paced experience where young people explore the exciting world of science, technology, engineering, and maths through live demos, creative challenges, and real-world insights.
Students (aged 11–16) work in small groups and rotate through a series of fun, skill-building STEM activities delivered by local businesses. From building, coding, and testing, to racing, designing, and problem-solving—it’s STEM like they’ve never seen it before.
