We’re thrilled to announce that Get Inspired Southampton and New Forest, in partnership with Southampton City Council, New Forest District Council and Barratt David Wilson Homes is returning in 2026, bigger and better than ever! This year, we’ve teamed up with Southampton City Council’s Your Future event, creating one incredible experience for young people, parents, and carers.
This dynamic event connects local businesses with the next generation, inspiring 11–16-year-olds to explore the amazing career opportunities available right here in Southampton and the New Forest. Did you know that by age 15 or 16, over a third of young people are focused on just 10 job roles? Together, we can broaden their horizons and show them what’s possible.
We’re calling on businesses like yours to help showcase the diverse and exciting careers in our region. Through hands-on, interactive activities, you’ll give young people and their families a real insight into your industry and the future they could have in it.

There is a cost to attend. The cost to exhibit is £300+VAT per event (unless exempt). Charities, uniformed public services and organisations with less than 50 staff and event partners and sponsors are exempt from payment.

An Event Partner or sponsor will want to be at the forefront of providing young people with essential opportunities to connect them to businesses and recognise a collaborative approach from different industries has a higher impact and creates more opportunities for young people.
