Step into a world of innovation and possibility at our Inspiring STEM Event – a high-energy, hands-on day designed to ignite young minds and showcase the incredible careers available in science, technology, engineering, and maths.
This one-day, timetabled event gives businesses a unique opportunity to connect with secondary school students and bring STEM to life through interactive activities. Hosted at the world-renowned National Oceanography Centre, the event blends cutting-edge science with real-world industry experiences.
We’re inviting businesses to run a fun, 25-minute STEM challenge that students can take part in as a group. Whether it’s building a mini-racing car, designing the furthest-flying paper plane, or cracking a code—your challenge should be engaging, energetic, and hands-on.
You’ll need to provide the materials, but feel free to add a competitive twist—small prizes for the fastest, furthest, or most creative solution are a great motivator!
Alongside business-led challenges, students will also explore lab-based activities and a NOC virtual ship tour, making this a truly immersive STEM day.
